Proudly continuing the tradition of organising the Biggest Technical Fest in Thapar for over the past 5 years, IETE is back with another version upgrade : Elementos 6.O. A week-long series of fun-filled and brainstorming events, which are open for all the students in and across Thapar. 31 March

Shhh... You are the Impostor
You all must have recognised the line above, its from "Among Us". Looking at the entertainment this game has provided you in the lockdown, we decided to host a tournament "INTO THE VENTS".

Thapar Premier League

1 April

A coding competition in which individuals, different societies as well as colleges are invited to participate. There will be 7 questions testing the DSA and programming skills of the participants.

D-Bug

2 April

We provide a code to you which have a lot of bugs. We also provide a video or screenshots of the actual web page whose faulty code ìs provided to you. You need to debug the code and Check that your webpage works the same as the actual web page . We allot a point on particular bugs.

Kaput Circuit

3 April

A faulty tinkercad circuit will be provided via links, candidates have to copy that circuit in their workspace and then find the fault in the circuit and the code and make it working. And then send the screenshots of code+circuit diagram via gform to us.

Sensory Heist

4 April

The event aims at testing the contestant's logical thinking and real life problem solving aptitude as they design their project’s model to prevent the Money Heist. Multi round events and eliminations designed to test your pressure handling skills where the contestant will be exposed to sudden emergencies that shall test both the viability and adaptability of their project.

Pitch or Ditch

5 April

One of the most breathtaking event of elementos 2.0 aims at embracing your entrepreneurship and pursuading skills by promoting a healthy technical atmosphere among all the geeks with a strategic bent. Its targeted at awarding the best and the most innovative pitch. Your ideas, reasoning, innovation and scalability should define your project. So gear yourself to dive into the sea of this amazing journey with us!!

Through-Out

An online casual style CTF event divided into levels/Days, each level/Day shall present the participant with a problem. Solve them all!. Question will Dynamically Scored based on Submission and Hints.

What is ELEMENTOS 6.O ?

ELEMENTOS is Thapar University's largest annual technical fest organised by IETE Students' Forum at TIET. Due to the pandemic the sixth rendition of ELEMENTOS is taking place online.
Is there any fees to attend the events or take part in any competitions?

ELEMENTOS is completely free of cost for everyone to attend and take part in. In previous renditions, we provided components to students taking part to make their bots but this year you might have to invest in your own components for some hardware based competitions.
Where and how do I register?

To register for a particular event, simply click on the "Register Now" button below the event descriction in the timeline.
Can I take part in more than one event?

Yes! Take part in as many events and workshops as you'd like!
What kind of background knowledge is necessary?

This varies with events. Some events are amateur-oriented while some require a certain degree of knowledge. Read the particular event's rulebook to get a better idea.
